With exam stress at its peak, we craved a relaxing staycation to bring the family together and celebrate a special milestone—the twins turning 18. For me, the greatest gift of all is always an experience shared as a family, and Rutland Hall & Spa delivered just that, and more.
Nestled along the idyllic shores of Rutland Water, the resort welcomed us with breathtaking views and peaceful surroundings. We were fortunate to stay in two charming cottages overlooking the water, where the insane weather only enhanced the beauty of our stay. Clear skies and warm sunshine made it feel like a slice of paradise.
The cottages were spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable retreat. Waking up to the tranquil views of the water each morning felt like an absolute dream. We spent our days strolling around the picturesque grounds, long Walksaround the water and sharing laughter over meals, and simply enjoying each other’s company. It was precisely what we needed to hit pause and celebrate our time together.

Their Easter Activity Day on Tuesday, 15th April 2025, promises a fantastic lineup of family-freindly adventures, including treasure hunts, claming, and archery.
