Having stayed earlier in the year at the beautifully restored cottage with its tranquil views and peaceful ambiance, I couldn’t resist returning to experience this little secret haven. And let me say, it was beyond magical.

Owners Amanda and Martin's keen eye for detail is truly unparalleled. Every corner of the hut and its surroundings is carefully considered, ensuring a seamless experience that reflects both luxury and comfort. From the moment you arrive, their friendly and beyond warm welcome makes you feel instantly at home, as though you’ve been visiting for years.
One of the most enchanting features is the gorgeous fire pit, perfect for cozying up under the stars, creating an ambiance that is both intimate and serene. And for the ultimate indulgence, a cleverly installed external bathtub is tucked beneath the veranda, offering a secluded sanctuary for a luxurious soak. An evening bath outdoors, accompanied by exquisite bath salts, allows your mind, body, and soul to become one with nature—a truly rejuvenating experience that melts away any lingering stresses.
Surrounded by picturesque views and the calming sounds of nature, my stay was a truly memorable one. Whether you’re sipping morning coffee on the porch or luxuriating in an outdoor bath as the evening light fades, the atmosphere is one of pure bliss. The Old Granary has truly outdone itself with this new addition—a must-visit for anyone in search of a peaceful, restorative getaway.
